The Hall provides a centre for community activities within Heald Green. It is located in

Outwood Road and offers the facilities of three function rooms.

 

The Main Hall (with stage), providing accommodation for up to 150, suitable for concerts,

 talks, parties etc.

 

The Social Room, this room will accommodate up to 40 and offers bar facilities (bring

your own drinks or for use by an external bar operator – we do not have a licence for the

sale of alcohol).

 

The Committee Room, offering a general meeting room with a capacity of up to 50 (this

room is also capable of division into two smaller rooms if required).

 

The Hall also has a well appointed kitchen available for serving food and drink available

as a part of any booking. (this facility is not approved for food preparation)

 

The Hall is operated by a local voluntary community association for the benefit of all

residents of the Heald Green area. The Heald Green Village Hall Community

Association is a registered charity, and since taking over the management of the Hall from Stockport Metropolitan Council in 1996 has made numerous improvements to the décor and general facilities of the Hall.

The Hall is also home to a number of regular user groups covering a wide variety of interests, these include:
